| Customer Reviews: must have item November 2, 2008 Andrew Parkin (somewhere in the US) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I was very impressed with this. I was on a survival course weekend, and did not have a regular sleeping bag. This item is very light weight and kept me so warm that I ended up sleeping on top of it for one of the nights.
It reflects a lot of body heat. Even if you are not going to use this as a sleeping bag (as I did). If you are in a tent and unfold it to use as a ground mat, you will be amazed what a difference it makes to the temperature. Keep one of these in your car / backpack. Takes up a lot less space than a blanket and does offer some water resistance if you need to use it as a shelter in the rain.
Every hiking / camping / motorcycle trip, this is going with me
