Nice stove after repairing December 30, 2009 Wrenchmonkey (Sacramento, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The stove came with a tube that wasn't inserted all the way into the air mixer, so I bent the copper tube to adjust. After verifying no leaks and firing it up, the flame had no low adjustments and wouldn't shut off completely. I had to remove the knob (there's a phillips screw under the sticker in the middle), and move it a notch at a time counter-clockwise until it would shut off and adjust the flame evenly, which turned out to be 3 notches. The biggest beef I have with this stove and all Butane fueled products is that it won't work when it's colder than 35 degrees F out.
Great emergency stove October 20, 2009 Roy 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Several years I bought one of these stoves for use during an emergency (we live in earthquake country). Recently we decided to do some remodeling and our kitchen was out for a month. The stove let us cook breakfast everyday and did a great job. Never failed to light and one can of fuel lasted the entire month. Found fuel at ACE Hardware. Bought two units for friends who saw ours and wanted one. Both new units fired up with no problems. Not the most rugged construction so might not be the best camp stove but is great for use in the home (or boat, cabin, etc).
Best Little Stove Ever August 26, 2009 Alicia Keenon (Phoenix, AZ USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this stove for my camping trip to Grand Canyon. If you order it, go ahead and order the butane from the same seller, because it's really hard to find (at least it was for me).
The stove works like a charm. It burns nice and hot. When there was wind, I used the carrying case it comes in as a wind shield. Water boiled in mere minutes. I cooked great meals on it. The butane cans last a very reasonable amount of time. The stove cleans up nicely.
Since the trip, I've also used it to make crepes at an indoor event, and will use it for such occasions again and again - love it!! Very easy to use, too.
Just what I wanted August 9, 2009 Traveler (Spartanburg, SC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was looking for a product that would allow me to cook during our frequent power outages. This works well! Found fuel for this at a restaurant supply store.
Not as described June 20, 2009 kaste (USA) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Item description is "rugged" butane stove with storage case, and that's what I wanted. What I got was a really crappy propane stove instead of butane, no push-button start, and no storage case.
