Product Description The Origo Rendezvous Peak Series Altimeter Watch provides altitude and bearing information to keep you from getting lost in the mountains, and it tracks your data for bragging rights back home. An integrated barometer tracks pressure for the past 30 hours, so you have an early warning of an impending storm. Origo built the Rendezvous Peak with a low-profile design that doesn't feel like a rock strapped to your wrist like some other altimeter watches do. This fully featured watch also has a chronograph with split timers to help your interval training sessions and ensure you're in shape when you hit the trailhead.

| Customer Reviews: Do research for a better product August 10, 2009 Bought this watch and the illumination featured never worked; when you push on the button it goes blank. The compass has to be reset frequently and the altimeter always gives erroneous readings.
It met all my expectations. February 20, 2009 K. Spallinger (Thief River Falls, MN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this watch to go over seas, I didn't know what I was getting however it met all my expectations. Where practical, the features are useful although it may take time to become familiar with. The temp gauge works well but you can't wear it to get the correct temp due to body heat. It's a bit bulky and larger than I expected. I would get another Origo item without reserve.

I knew what I was getting and it met my expectations. Where practical, the features are useful although it may take time to become familiar with accuracy, etc.
It's a bit bulky and larger than expected. The large face may make it susceptible to scratches and damage.
It has a locking feature which help avoid unnecessary power drain.
I would get another one or a similar item without reserve.
Piece of junk August 19, 2008 CBL This watch has gone blank on me several times. Removing the battery and putting it back makes it reset to 1/1/2006 and loses altitude.
For 3 months the altimeter was inaccurate but marginally useful. Now it randomly changes the altitude. I bought a new battery and went for hike. I set the altitude to 2200 feet and 2 minutes later it said 2800 feet. The compass never worked at all.
The glass should be better, window February 15, 2008 W. F. Castro (Santiago, Chile) I travel by airplane a lot and bought this watch in order to play with it. In general is a good watch with some exceptions the Compass does not work all the time and has to be reset too often. A watch that suppose to be use in the mountains should have a better glass, unfortunatelly mine has already broken after only a couple of weeks.
