| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description The digital Brunton PedAlarm pedometer is designed to accurately and easily track distances for walkers and hikers, letting you create a spot-on training regimen. The distances are measured in both miles and kilometers, so runners will know exactly how far they've gone and how much terrain is left. Brunton also threw in a step counter, a calorie counter, and a count-up timer, giving you plenty of data for later analysis. And should you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, simply pull the panic cord to activate the unit's 120 dB alarm, which emits a loud shrill that alerts anyone within earshot. The alarm adds significant peace of mind while jogging or walking alone. Additional features include a clock and a backlit LED display. The PedAlarm, which measures 2 by 1 by 2.75 inches (W x H x D), weighs a mere 1.9 ounces and fits on your waist thanks to the handy belt clip. What's in the Box? PedAlarm pedometer, battery, panic cord, belt clip, user's manual

I liked the sound of the alarm and the way it clips on your pants, but it was smaller than I thought it would be and the screen was hard to see without wearing glasses.
