A great choice for backcountry runners and advanced orienteering, the Silva OC1B (black) outdoor computer watch keeps track of your training times as well as your ascent and descent. It can be worn as a wristwatch or attached to a carabiner or lanyard (both sold separately). The digital compass has an 8-position cardinal directional indicator with 1-degree increments, programmable route, and adjustable declination. It also offers an altimeter, which can track altitude with an alarm, has a 24-hour memory barometer (barometric pressure, 24-hour trend), and provides temperature readings. The OC1B has three independent timers with alarms and a 375-record logbook that keeps track of cumulative ascent and descent, time, date, and even laps (for skiing). The advanced stopwatch provides intermediate or lap time measurements and has a 50-record storage capacity. Other features include alternate time zone setting, time with day/date/month/year settings, backlight with three-second delay, and water resistance to 10 meters (30 feet).
