Product Description The Black Diamond Gizmo Headlamp makes a great backup lighting source for day trips and a main light for backpacking trips when you don't need a big spotlight. The three SuperBright LED bulbs provide usable light up to 14 meters, so you can easily pitch your tent on a pitch black night. The Gizmo Headlamp includes two brightness settings, so you can save battery powder for a 42-hour burn time when you only need close-up lighting. This Black Diamond headlamp weighs only 2oz with batteries and easily fits in your pocket.

Nice, well built, lightweight headlamp February 25, 2010 toemaas (Seattle, WA) This headlamp appears to be well built and functions well. I use it for running and the main purpose for me is to be seen by others, rather than as a way to light up where I am going. If you want something that lights up dark paths, etc, then this is not the headlamp for you. This headlamp is better for close up activities, such as reading, around a fire, etc. That being said, for my purpose it works great and increases my visibility nicely. It is very comfortable and even on 2+ hour runs it doesn't bother me at all. It packs up small as well, so when it gets lighter out you can stow it in a small pocket. The battery life appears to be good so far, but I can't say exactly how long it has lasted for. It appears to be solid and performs well even in Seattle rain! Overall I gave this 4 stars only because the light is not the brightest. For the price and if you aren't looking for something to light your way in the dark, this is a great product.
Good Value February 13, 2010 D. Aleman (south Tx) works well for the price. is good enough for me to work inside a computer case. i guess i could imagine people using this at night outdoors for casual camping. decent design and good features for the price.
headlamp February 6, 2010 JOHN HEYNIGER (STONINGTON, CT, US) This is the lamp I wanted and the burn time is longer than the other headlamp I purchased.
disposable headlamp February 6, 2010 m grossman (oaxaca, oaxaca, mexico) the headlamp stopped working even before the first set of batteries ran out, in less than 6 months. its like a disposable headlamp for types that like disposable products
Great for Reading in bed January 22, 2010 Mom of Four (Smyrna, TN) Bought as a gift for my ll-yr-old. He loves to read in bed. This was a HIT! My two-year-old thinks it is pretty neat too. Easy to use by many.
