Small but sturdy February 21, 2010 JS (NJ, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Coleman Trekking Stool is very light weight, compact and surprisingly sturdy. I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs and found this stool to support me very well for around 20 to 30 minutes at a time but then it was necessary to get up and move around, otherwise the extremities began falling asleep. I would not recommend this stool for anyone heavier than me, I feel my size/weight is about at the limit of the stool. I had a friend try out the stool and I think he almost broke it (he weighs around 200 and is about 6'2"). I feel this was well worth the price and believe the stool will last for some time based on the quality of the construction. It has already provided great service for the past month and I will continue to use it on a somewhat regular basis (I work on cell site equipment and there are never any places to sit while programming the equipment). I would have given this product 5 stars if I could have sat in it for longer periods of time without having to get up to get the blood flowing.
Not comfortable January 29, 2010 Zacky (Illinois) The 4 point seat does not cradle your bottom. Can't sit on it for long periods of time without loosing circulation. My friend had a 3 point seat which I much preferred for comfort. I do like the collapsing legs on the Coleman.
Short but sweet September 22, 2009 PseudoMe (Desert of Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a small stool, but it sure beats sitting on the ground. It is very light and portable. One thing you should know the tag that is attached to the stool says it supports 180lbs NOT 200lbs. Other then that worth the money.
construction August 28, 2009 K. Vetter (San Antonio, Tex) Was disappointed with the size of the seat. Its more of a child size. Also legs will easily sink into soft ground. Guess its best suited for a child sitting on a pier or paved area.
Small, light and compact makes it truly easy to take along May 25, 2009 Maria (Austin, TX USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
It was great to take to a Tai Chi demonstration in the park. Grass was wet and it served its purpose in a great way. Only one detraction was that the seat should be a tiny bit bigger or in the very least have some cushioning on the four corners. But... it is so small and easy to carry that I would recommend it.
