Product Description

This is a handy item if you cannot stand for long periods, or walk long distances without sitting to rest. Great for waiting in line at the post office, or to take along to fairs, etc.
WARNING!! THE METAL TIPS ON THE LEGS ARE NOT SAFE ON SMOOTHE SURFACES. I HAD TO BUY RUBBER CANE TIPS, SIZE 7/8 IN., TO SAFELY USE THIS ITEM WHEN WALKING AROUND TOWN, OR INSIDE ON NON-CARPETED SURFACES.
This item is a little heavier than I would have liked, but is made of sturdy metal and there has to be bonus points for that, so the extra weight is worth accepting. I get a good workout walking with it.
The foam grip on the handle is nicely springy. The canvas seat is comfortable. However, I do not recomend this product for anyone who is larger than 170lbs. The seat is not designed for larger people, or children.
It fits easily onto the side of my luggage cart that I use for shopping. It opens easily when I need to sit while waiting for buses, or need to rest.

Not for a lady in a dress, but great for an outing in pants when you know you'll need to rest from time to time. Need to get rubber tips for the legs, but it will hold at least 200 lbs. Need to sit on it with the handle facing you in order to facilitate standing when you resume walking.

They slide around like ice-skates on any smooth tile or wood floors because the feet are covered with non-stick caps TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM GET Rubber Cane Tips ¾ in standard replacement... cost about $ 2.99 for 2) make certain that when you sit on stool cane, the cane handle is on the side of you( left or right side) You can put your hand on the cane handle and hang a small purse or bag on the handle while you sit and wait etc..
Great Product, affordable price! (A handicapped or elderly person can use this chair as long as they or anyone else weight is about 240lbs)

Beware.. This product is NOT for the handicapped or elderly person.
1. the Feet are NOT covered with non stick caps. They slide around like ice-skates on any smooth tile or wood floors.
2. The seat does not lock in anyway and is prone to folding down with slight movements to right or left
3. only SAFE way to sit on it is to straddle the seat. NOT something a handicapped or elderly person could do
4. It is not even safe as a 2nd cane as it has those slippery feet
I would stay away from this product as there are HUGE safety factor issues with its use for a handicapped person.

This stool was ordered for a friend who has fatigue due to heart condition. She was so surprised of the light weight, comfort and carrying case of the item. This is recommended for anyone--school moms, golfers, etc.--sometimes we all get tired. Many thanks!!!
