Weighs 8 lbs. Act Now! Oversized Camp Chair, Blue
Product Description This sturdy camp chair from ALPS Mountaineering is a versatile, "go anywhere" chair, perfect for sitting around the campfire, fishing your favorite stream, or relaxing in your own backyard. A sporty-looking alternative to your average folding chair, this one features a taller back, curved padded armrests, and an extra-wide seat to accommodate most body shapes and sizes. Its tough aluminum frame and 600 dernier polyester fabric make it as durable as it is comfortable and ideal for everyday use in all kinds of weather. Best of all, the chair is simple to use--it pops open when you are ready to sit down and just as easily folds flat for easy carrying and storage. It weighs about eight pounds and supports up to 350 pounds.

Don't have to worry about hitting the ground January 30, 2010 C. Tennis (Southern Illinois) I have one of these chairs I order another one for my husband. We are both bigger people. With this chair we don't have to worry about hitting the ground, because a chair gave up under our weight. We love it. It is sturdy in construction. it doesn't sink down into the dirt. It sits comfortable.
GREAT heavy duty chair November 23, 2009 Terry K. Crabtree I'm a pretty big guy , 314 lbs or so, I could use a "regular" weight chair, one of the umbrella types for a few months and it would break. I bought this chair a few months back and it is GREAT. The ONLY thing I would change if I could would be to make it ever so slightly wider and to somehow redesign the can or drink hold so it would hold you drink level instead of on a slant. Other than that it's the BEST I've even tried.
comfortable, sturdy, light. November 10, 2009 A. Perry In addition to being comfortable, sturdy, and light, chair is good looking and well made. You gotta use some strength to open close...this pulls taught seat material. No carry case..we kept box it came in. Also, as with most fabric chairs...this will easily melt if hot ember from campfire lands on it. I have not checked prices lately so I cannot comment on current value. I bought this last year and was happy to have them during camp trip. I am 5'9" and 190lb and these chairs handled me no problem.
great car camping chair September 12, 2009 R. Thiessen (Winnipeg, MB Canada) This chair was everything I hoped it would be: sturdy, comfortable (no bar cutting across the front of your legs like those quad fold chairs), lightweight and easy to set up. The back of the chair folds down into the seat making it a little less bulky to carry/store. From the picture, I imagined the back to feel more solid but it feels a little like a sling-back chair so you don't sit as upright as the picture might indicate.
Great Camp Chair!! September 6, 2009 Rhoda This is an extremely sturdy and comfortable camp chair that is well suited for the large person or those with a bad knee/hip who need strong support when heaving themselves out of the chair (both in my case!). I was very pleased with the wide seat...no pinching of thighs etc. This makes a good camp or deck chair and I have even used it in the living room when I needed extra seating for guests.
