After a few years of lugging stuff to the beach and back, and watching other people use their carts, we purchased the Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart last year and got to put it to the test in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. It hauled all of our gear, including cooler, beach bag, chairs and umbrella without a problem. It sure beats carrying all of our beach items on our backs and shoulders! It folds up easily to fit in the trunk. I would recommend this item.

This makes the trip to the beach so easy. We stacked four chairs, a cooler, umbrella, blankets, towels, and assorted baby gear. I was able to wheel it across the sand with one hand while holding a chubby 18 month old in the other! Extremely easy to manuever and I could have wedged much more into the center storage area. I have used this beach cart at the mall and Soak City(the waterpark next to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH). Since it is made to be pulled, not pushed, it was hard for me to get the hang of it at first. However, when we went to the waterpark, we put a cooler in the main compartment and that made it much easier to push. That extra weight in the main compartment counterbalanced the weight of my purse in the removable tote bag near the handle. The large main compartment is made of mesh and I don't expect it to be very durable, especially with heavy wear. So far it has accomplished what I bought it for, but I am not sure if I would purchase it again.
