| Customer Reviews: comparable to more expensive options January 6, 2010 elsinore98 (The Poconos, PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just ordered a few of these to use in my son's lunch. Shipping was fast and the items arrived well-packaged and were not damaged. They seem to be of solid construction and I don't foresee having any issues (if I do, will update this review). These containers look to be comparable in quality to other more expensive ($20+) thermos food jars I have purchased in the past.

I gave this product one star because it was damaged to the extent that I would not be able to determine whether or not it would work as described. The product arrived sporting a 2-inch crack along the inside edge of the plastic collar at the opening of the jar. The rough metal edge of the jar could be seen thru the crack, so I imagine that no only would it NOT keep food warm, but would leak as well. To return the item, I would have to print out return authorization and specific mailing labels. I do not have a printer, and there was no other option given in Amazon's Return Center. So i'm just going to keep the piece of crap and use it for solid items that don't have to keep for too long in my son's lunchbox. This is the third food container that I have bought that wasn't a Thermos. I tried to go cheap, although $[...] isn't THAT cheap, and every off-brand I've tried was crap. I have one Thermos Funtainer and it kicks [...] by far, but they're expensive. Still, I'm sticking with them from now on.
