I would definitely recommend if you go to the beach, lake or pool often because you will definitely get your $$ worth.

Positives: Great concept. The player has great sound as well. Large cooler with lots of storage.
Negatives. There is not enough clearance between the wheels and the ground. Batteries are difficult to get to. If pulling the cooler and you go over a large stone will will stop the cooler and cause you to tip the cooler. The other negative is the knobs. The knobs and chrome details fall off easily. Recently the volumne knob broke off at the base and I called Igloo to see if there was a warranty or replacement for it. Unfortunatly they make no replacement parts for this unit. Buyer beware.

This cooler is ESSENTIAL to a trip to the beach or for a picnic by the lake. Tons of storage space in the cooler and lots of space outside the cooler for snacks or incidentals like cell phone, glasses, etc. Aux jack makes it great for playing any iPod or mp3 player (or older things like discman). AM/FM radio works great (if you don't try to play it too loud). I recommend it for anyone!!
