according to Igloo corporation there is only one latch (9350)and one hinge made now to replace parts. even though there are pictures of old parts, only one is available for replacements -for the latch, it is part 9350 which DOES require some modification on some coolers. 3/10

The picture that was shown was the one for last years cooler (the one I needed) and the one that was sent was this years which will not fit last years cooler. So I now have 4 latches for a cooler I do not have. (It seems the picture is still wrong and if you order the latch you see you will not get the one in the picture)

It's hard to believe Igloo would make such POOR QUALITY LATCH and give it the same item number as the original. Top that off with a picture of the orginal. Order it and receive the new version .. VERY MISLEADING.
So what's wrong with the new style? Thin brittle plastic, have to drill a hole for the new male part (one screw instead of two) Then comes the sorry part, IT WON'T STAY FASTENED! I purchased two sets of these latches for two 128 marine coolers. Marine Coolers were a sizable investment, and is the sort of thing you need to hold up. The original latches could have been improved upon, no doubt, but the new version is junk..I've always bought the best Igloo Coolers,and have kept them for years. These latches are the weakest aspect of the cooler, and have convinced me to look very hard at other brands before purchasing new coolers. The Amazon company I purchased these through, was very accommodating and refunded my purchasing price, not the shipping. So for now, I will use the latches, and hope they make it one season.
Wrong Parts Sent Not Like The Picture Of The Item Shown. November 5, 2009

I ordered three new latches for my coolers, the part number was Igloo # 24013 White replacement latch. They sent a newer version with the hole in it, not what I ordered and paid good money for including shipping. I wanted the old latch that says igloo that is a direct replacement for my latches as they advertise and have shown on the website.
Going to contact Big Edge Sports to send the right items, will let you know if they are willing to fix the error.

This product was great. It wasn't however the same as the picture on the website. I did have a few moment of hesitation to open this product not knowing if it was universal or not. Eventually I did try it and it works better than the original.
