We really enjoyed this kettle. We kept it over our fire most of our camping trip, to keep warm water at hand and also used over our camping stove. Love the lid, keeps contents warm and clean but it is a little tricky to remove with the d ring that is provided. We just used a fork to lift it up and then get a hold of the d ring. Would definitely recoment to anyone who is looking for a good size kettle for camping.
