4 out of 5 stars GSI Outdoor Bugaboo Cookset   September 8, 2009

I Love the versitility of this cooking set. The sizes of the pans work well for us also. I only wish that there were an extra handle, not mandatory, but sometimes my husband and I are both cooking at the same time and another handle would come in handy. Other than that we love them.

The Blue Bugaboos are the older GSI model and have since been discontinued, but if you shop around you can still find them pretty cheap. The current version is the Bugaboo Base Camper. They've made some changes to the handles, but otherwise, these are the same. I've used these Blue Bugaboo Pots for years and have been really happy with them. There were three sets available: Small, Medium and Large. I have both the small and large sets. The small set will fit perfectly inside the large set. Also, I'm pretty sure you can fit a GSI Halulite Tea Kettle inside the smallest pot. I don't use that exact kettle, but I have another brand about the same size. I worry a little about the non-stick coating getting scratched so I always pack my pots up with a piece of paper in between each. Years later, they still look great.

Everything you need for semi-primitive camping kitchen. Nestles nicely together into the provided net sack. The aluminum material is lightweight but as with this material heat transfer could be better. Overall, its a nice set.

4 out of 5 stars great pots need a better handle   July 2, 2008

The pots are great for camping, but a new handle design should be considered. We rely on pliers to work with the pots.

These pots cook the food evenly and heat very quickly. They are also very easy to clean. I use these pots every time I go camping. They don't weight much and they pack away neatly also.
