Good build, but not a great value March 16, 2010

The item is light and stands up well to being banged around. The lack of a handle is a bit of a bummer, but the pots cool off quick.
This item doesn't get 5 stars from me because, for the same price, I could get an entire steel cooking set of similar quality from an Army surplus store.

These are the nicest pans I have found. Their quality is excellent and they stow away very well. Highly recommend.

I have used this on many scout camping trips and it is perfect for that use. I have a s.s. cup from a previous, not so hardy kit that fits inside and it is roomy enough for two (short handled) silverware sets (also from previous, now trashed kits). It is very sturdy and had held up to five years of use. This product is not ideal for backpacking due to its weight.
