its nice for a somewhat hot shower January 4, 2010 E. Oakes (mont al) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is a good alternative to a cold shower. it dosen't get hot but it does get warmer than the outside temp which makes it nice. extreme cold and it not going to matter very much.
Good Size September 19, 2009 S. Casey 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Matched the description, The thermometer on bag is fun to track effectiveness, the hose is very slippery when opening the valve and 4 gallons is more than enough for a person with little hair. I could have gone to next size down. Seems strong enough. A luxury at the end of a day of riding a dusty trail.
camping shower August 13, 2009 G. Turner (Elk Grove, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased the Stearns SunShower prior to a camping trip in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado/July 2009. It is superb quality - heavy material/not cheap or flimsy - I like the temperature gauge that is on it - it didn't leak - the shower head is easy to operate. I filled it half full and that was enough for a good shower and to wash and rinse my hair, which is past shoulder length. I really like the fact that the cap screws on as it's much less likely to leak. If I decide to get another one - sometimes I have more people - I will purchase the same item again. We did bring a second camping shower, which we borrowed, and it wasn't nearly the same quality.
missing nozzle August 4, 2009 Guillermo Armenteros (Santo Domingo, DR) The solar shower is great, however, my shower came without the shower head that works as a valve, therefore it is very difficult to use because you are not able to control the water flow.
I would like to know if it would be possible to get the missing part. After all, that has been a packing and shipping fault on the seller's side.
Warm Showers While Camping July 7, 2009 Patricia A. Brown (Scottsdale, AZ) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Loved this shower worked well for dishes to. Product as described. Read directions though the see thru side should be facing up. Only took about 2 to 4 hours to heat up in 90 degrees and plenty of water left after one shower and on person washing hair.
