Great shoe, but it runs narrow February 23, 2010 J. Van Otterloo (Joplin Missouri) I have owned and worn this shoe outside every day for several months now. They are waterproof as advertised, and I find them to be quite comfortable. However they do run narrow, so people with wide feet might have to go a size bigger than normal.
Lacks cushion May 30, 2009 Kevin O'connor (Leesburg, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First pair of shoes I have bought online, and probably the last. These are nice looking, waterproof shoes for a good price, but they are perhaps the most uncomfortable shoe I have worn. I have had them for a over a month now and put a cheap insole which helped a little, and now have bought a more expensive pair of insoles to see if I can save them. I use them for work and can't handle an uncomfortable pair of shoes for 10 hours a day.
Defective shoes ... February 28, 2009 A. Pickerill (Seattle) It's too bad because I actually really like the shoes. They are light and comfortable and I can wear them just about anywhere. But soon after I started wearing them one of the grommets that holds the shoe laces began to tear out of the shoe. I remedied it by skipping that grommet but now the next one down is tearing out. Once that one goes the shoes won't really be usable. And I've only been wearing the shoes for a couple of months. I tried contacting Hi-Tec but so far they have just ignored me. I think its just a defective shoe because its not happening on the other one.
Good for the money December 29, 2008 M. Draper (Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work part time at a carwash and wanted a shoe that wasnt a full on rubber boot, was still comfortable AND waterproof. This was a tall order to fill to say the least. I have to say that these shoes do fit the bill. While not completely 100% waterproof they do a good job of keeping my feet dry for the most part. It's only after the leather is very soaked that you can start feeling the moisture wick through. They are comfortable and I dont mind being on my feet for 8-10hrs on concrete with them. They are overall a good way to go.
Worst Quality November 9, 2008 Giorgi Kopaleishvili The shipping was all right, but the shoes quality sucks. After 2 days of wearing, the left side of the left shoe started piealing off. I guesses the glue that manufacturer used is not high quality. When I noticed that, it made me upset and disappointed with the "Hi-Tec" shoes. This was my first experience buying these shoes and I'll never buy "Hi-Tec" again, period!!!
