| Customer Reviews: Makes plane travel so much better February 1, 2010 Vienta (Boulder, CO) This blanket has to be my favorite travel accessory of all time. It folds down small (I can put it in my purse) and makes any cramped, cold plane ride more comfortable. As the other reviewer mentioned, its not a heavy, super warm blanket- but it makes me feel more at home wherever I am. It's made of Coolmax so it dries really quick- you could hand wash it on the road if you wanted and have it dry that night.
Good quality and lighweight! August 18, 2009 S. Barnes (Utah, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been using this for a little over two months and it is nice. It isn't quite as warm as I was hoping, but it certainly helps to keep the chill off.
Cocoon blanket May 6, 2008 J. Parker 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I wanted an amply sized, lightweight blanket to take on trips. Before buying, I looked for (1) size (2) weight (3) packability (4) ease of care. This product was accurately described in all respects, and was the largest, lightest, and most packable of all that I researched. I used the blanket on an overnight plane trip and in a hotel in a very humid climate, where I slept both with and without air conditioning. The blanket was comfortable on all occasions and was easy to roll up and stuff back into its little bag. My only criticism is I would have liked to have seen the fabric and finish close up before buying, though I am now satisfied with both.
Use it for many things April 12, 2008 Lana Tolman (Los Angeles, CA USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I used this product on a recent trip to South America.
Even in 1st class the blankets are still small. I used it to cover my chest and also pulled it over my head to keep the coughs and sneezes from me.
I also used it as a sun shad in the car.
In the morning when it was cold i used it as a wrap. I would never travel without my again
Amazingly Small December 30, 2006 Lance S. Micklus (Essex Junction, Vermont) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
My wife and I are making our first trip to Europe so we thought these items might be nice to bring on the aircraft.
At first, it was a mystery how to put the pillow back into the included carrying case. The answer is you just stuff it back in. The pillow will swishes easily so it fits in the little pouch. We also bought the pillow cover for this which is nice and soft. After experimenting, we found the easiest thing to do was leave the pillow in the pillow cover and stuff that in one of my shoulder bag compartments along with the Cocoon blanket. Everything compresses so well it hardly takes up any room.
The blanket itself it amazingly small when stuffed in its pouch. Yet it does a nice job of giving you a little something to cover yourself up with. The blank material feels like it's made of the same material used to make a extra heavy tee shirt. It's a good choice of material for a blanket.
All in all, this will help make the best of those small economy class seats so we can get some rest on our journey.
