Product Description The Kestrel 32 Daypack's panel-loading design allows quick access to all your gear, and Osprey beefed it up with features you'd usually find only on larger overnight bags. A front stretch-Lycra pocket provides a quick place to stash your shell, and two hip pockets keep your camera, compass, and a snack readily available. An AirScape back panel provides support with stiff, molded foam instead of heavy, totally rigid aluminum stays. Osprey even gave the Kestrel 32 Daypack two ice axe holders and Stow-On-the-Go trekking pole attachments to carry all your walking and climbing accessories.

| Customer Reviews: Great backpack January 31, 2010 Leong Yongjun (Singapore) Overall I'm pleased with the backpack. The capacity is much larger than the 32L indicated, and carries pretty well. The waist belt could be a bi beefier though, for better support. Also needs a better pocket arrangement. The pocket on top hinders placing stuff into the main compartment when fully packed.
Quickly Became One of My Favorite Packs by Osprey September 9, 2009 dmbxvii 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Shorty after I bought this pack, it became one of my favorite packs that's offered by Osprey. Don't let the 32 L size scare you because the main compartment goes deep down and is able to hold A LOT. There are two very nice small mesh pockets on the side, and a large one on the front with straps to tighten. The pack also has a zippered top pocket that's ideal for carrying things like your wallet/phone/ipod/etc, and a pocket on each of the waist straps where I like to put my tool kit and fire striker. There are many loops going down the front and on the bottom that enable to you add hook ons too which is great. Overall the pack is very sturdy and has a feel of lasting durability (everything well made and what not). The frame (airspeed) is what really makes it stand out because it's in my opinion the nicest frames from Osprey. It's super comfortable. The pack is lightweight and great for UL hiking (day or an overnighter where you can share equipment with other hikers). I hoped all this information helped~
