I tried out packs in Scheels before ordering online, and for me (and I suspect a lot of medium-build women) this pack, designed for women, worked out well. Any worries I had about the number of straps interfering with airline baggage carousel contraptions was unfounded, as the pack passed muster round-trip to Arizona. Everything seals up nicely, does not open up or fall out and is of course MUCH easier than lugging a comparably-sized duffel bag around MSP. I'm very happy with the purchase from a traveler's standpoint, and it worked well for camping too.

I bought this backpack for a 5 week trip through Europe. It held up very well and was very comfortable. It was easy to get to everything in my backpack no matter where it was. I have no complaints about this product. There seemed to be a pocket or zipper wherever I needed it!
